Hi,
I was just wanting to know some tips on how anyone else manages pain, specifically joint and muscle. Tylenol and ibuprofen don’t work very well for me. I use a heating pad and roll on arnica when it’s available to me, I don’t go to stores often so I borrow a friends, and it’s very difficult. I have some braces and use KT tape when it’s really bad but I’m allergic to the adhesive.
Hi! I have chronic pain in the majority of the joints in my body, especially my knees and hips. When it gets bad, I use a heating pad or ice pack. I'm also looking at getting mobility aid because it does often restrict my mobility. I went to physical therapy for a long time, it didn't really help for me, but my physical therapist helped me find resources to try to get answers on what the pain might be, so that might be my first suggestion: go to PT or your general provider and try to get some answers (it'll be a long journey but it's worth it!) Also, I would research some causes of joint pain to see if it fits you, and ask around in your family so you can see if anything runs in your family, then you can give your GP some more specific info and some ideas. I mostly researched Rheumatoid Arthritis because it runs in my family, and Ehlers Danlos because I have a lot of hyper mobility.
