apple juice and autism?? just wondering
hey so this might sound kind of random but i saw something online about apple juice maybe being linked to autism, like because of sugar or stuff like metals (like arsenic?) that could be in juice. i’m not saying it’s true or anything, i just got curious and wanted to ask if anyone else has looked into it or thought about it.
i’m autistic and i drink a lot of apple juice, it’s one of the few things i actually like drinking. but now i’m wondering if it could be messing with anything like mood, energy, focus, or just stuff in general.
has anyone here ever noticed anything different when drinking apple juice or cutting it out? and do diets actually help with sensory stuff or focus or anything? or is that mostly something parents just try?
i’m not trying to make a big deal out of it, just curious and wanted to hear what other people think.
thanks for reading!
I don't like apple juice
hi so I'm self diagnosed autistic and when I tell you I'm LOVE with apple juice I'm not kidding. every time i go to the store or the gas station I need apple juice. I'm literally in love with it. I don't know if its linked with autism but I loveeee apple juice its literally in my description on my account.🧃
Thanks
I've never liked apple juice- can't stand it but I think I'm autistic and read a lot of things about things being linked to autism. Autism is genetic and you are born with it but maybe the sugars from the apple do something. I dont know- I'm 14 and not even diagnosed. I think diets do sometimes help because when I eat my safe foods I feel energetic and ready to do anything but anything I hate and my parents force me to eat doesn't really have an effect on me. I think it's just me though.
