I personally LOVE those rainbow slug fidgets, you can get them on Amazon and they make a very satisfying noise and make me SO happy. but the one problem is that I can not have them in class because they are too noisy. so I would recommend the slug fidgets, need dogs, and simple dimples, because the simple dimples you can easily hang on a lanyard.
I love the beads you put both sides of the string through opposite sides and when you tie it off it slides. I made mine with elastic string and chewy beads. I usually keep it on my lanyard that I wear at school for a club called yellow tulip project to make the members visible but I put that loops and a little two pop it thing. I attached a photo of mine and some instructions.

A good fidget/sensory toy is stress balls or squishy toys
If you have tons of fidgets, then you probably have this one, but I really like Tangles!
