So I guess as grade 5 your In us or are you In uk. I'm in uk and in secondary school I had a dyslexia screening in primary school but was then left and never signed off as dyslexic. So my overlays were only if old ones randomly found till went to secondary and was familiar with send lead I asked for one as I said I had one but it got very scratched. Last year I asked about the ability to have a time out card for bad tics and sensory overload however it was promised and never followed up. Not reasked as tics really improved along with less overload and I got loops and noise cancelling headphones. Top tips make friends with the sen team if you can get loops I have experience and quites wear both however heard good things about the switch's. Quites don't block out as much as I expected but still great mainly deaden it not cancel it. One up side to having 2 diffent ones is that they can get uncomfortable after hours however swapping out briefly resets uncomfort. As well if you can get noise cancelling headphones they have made a huge difference wear them daily I use soundcore q20i got them in black friday sale. However have heard good things about bose and Sony but more expensive. Hope this helps I will check chat regularly so ask anything you need we are here to help

Sorry don't want to be rude but what are your neurodivergencies
I am an undiagnosed autistic and probably have tourettes. I use loop ear plugs and some teachers let me use my noise cancelling headphones. Also I have a pre written email to all my teachers explaining my conditions and accommodations. I also have a printed version in my pocket for supply teachers. Send have left me have a separate room for exams and use a chromebook for all my work and tests as I have appalling handwriting hope this all helps.
